Book an Appointment with a Financial Aid Counsellor

We have implemented a new self-service appointment booking platform. Once a student submits an application for In-Course Financial Aid, they must keep monitoring Minerva > Financial Aid/Awards tab > Financial Aid Menu > under Apply for 91导航视频 Financial Aid, click on "View Status". If an appointment is required, a link to our new self-service appointment booking platform will be provided.

Although our team is working continuously to provide online assessments, delays can be expected during the following peak periods: August, September and January. NOTE: In order to be equitable, it is important to follow the instructions as indicated, therefore if you have not been instructed to book an appointment, kindly go back to your app for updates.

Scholarships and Student Aid聽offers both virtual and in-person appointments with Financial Aid Counsellors across the downtown and Macdonald campuses. In an effort to expedite aid, we are performing more online decisions without appointments. Be sure to go back to your app frequently as important instructions and/or online decisions will be added to your application within 2 weeks of submission (from the Financial Aid/Awards menu, under Apply for 91导航视频 Financial Aid, click on the 鈥淰iew Status鈥� hyperlink.)

Booking an appointment:

  • If you have been instructed on your In-Course Financial Aid application to book an appointment with a Financial Aid Counsellor, please contact our office.
  • Scheduling an appointment via telephone is the most expedited way to do so, as availabilities can be easily determined within one interaction. Alternatively, you may email us at student.aid [at] mcgill.ca with the subject line: Financial Aid Appointment Required + your 91导航视频 ID Number. Kindly note there may be delays in response when scheduling via email; as it takes multiple email exchanges to confirm an appointment. Please do NOT both call and email as this creates delays.
  • Any other questions related to your appointment
