Identification and analysis of co rtical gradients provides a framework to study brain organization across s pecies\, to examine changes in brain development and aging\, and to more g enerally study the interrelation between brain structure\, function and co gnition. In this pre-OHBM workshop\, held on July 21\, 2023\, we will brin g together outstanding junior and senior scientists to discuss the challen ges and opportunities afforded by this emerging perspective.\n \n Early care er researchers will take centre stage for a series of talks on state-of-th e-art development and application of gradient approaches\, while a diverse range of established scientists from across the globe will chair the proc eedings. In this manner\, we hope to stimulate discussions on how gradient s are changing our understanding of brain organization and to initiate fel low researchers to this burgeoning field.\n\n\nCall for Posters \n\nSharin g Science and Knowledge\n\nResearchers and students have the opportunity t o share their ideas and research during the Gradients of Brain Organizatio n Workshop. Researchers and trainees at the undergraduate\, graduate\, and postdoctoral level are invited to present their work. The poster session will take place in-person during the cocktail. The scientific presentation s are intended to ignite discussion\, collaboration\, and connection. \n\n Please submit your abstract of less than 500 words HERE. Abstracts should contain: 1) name of author & affiliation\, 2)name of co-authors & affiliat ion\, 3) title of abstract\, 4) abstract. The deadline for submission is J une 7\, 2023.\n\nAbstracts will be reviewed by the scientific program comm ittee. Authors will be notified whether their submission will be accepted or not by June 30\, 2023.\n\n**Submissions for the abstracts have now ende d and we will no longer be accepting submissions.\n\n\nOrganizing Committe e:\n\nBoris Bernhardt\n\nJessica Royer\n\nDebbie Rashcovsky\n\nSasha Kelly \n\n\nSponsors\n\nThe Quebec Bio-Imaging Network (QBIN)\n\nHemholtz Intern ational BigBrain Analytics & Learning Laboratory (HIBALL)\n\nUniversity of Cambridge\n\nMax Planck School of Cognition\n\nEuropean Research Council \n DTSTART:20230721T123000Z DTEND:20230721T223000Z LOCATION:Jeanne Timmins Amphitheatre\, Montreal Neurological Institute\, CA \, QC\, Montreal\, H3A 2B4\, 3801 rue University SUMMARY:Gradients of Organization 2023 Workshop URL:/neuro/channels/event/gradients-organization-2023- workshop-344386 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
