The first study examined the effect of a community and schoo l sport program (Sporting Chance Program [SCP]) on Indigenous adolescents’ life skill development and physical activity levels within program sessio ns. A secondary aim was to determine the acceptability of SCP. The second study investigated the effects of a community and school-based service lea rning experience (SLE) on preservice physical education (PE) teachers' Ind igenous knowledge\, cultural competency and pedagogy. Research strategies\ , findings and implications will be discussed as well as recommendations f or future research with Indigenous adolescents.
